CACE Attended the 17th Japan-China Energy Conservation and Environment Forum

On Saturday, November 9, 2024, the 17th Japan-China Energy Conservation and Environment Forum was held in Tokyo. The forum brought together about 650 stakeholders from the public and private sectors in both Japan and China, including Zhao Chenxin, Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission, Li Fei, Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce, and Wu Jianghao, Chinese Ambassador to Japan, Minister Muto, Mr. Asao Keiichiro, Minister of the Environment, Mr. Iwata Kazuchika, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Mr. Shindo Kosei, head of the Japan-China Economic Association attended the forum. CATL, Guangzhou BaiyunElectric, Sumitomo, YKK AP spoke as representatives of the two countries.

President Zhu Liyang organized more than 20 representatives from relevant local governments and enterprises to attend the main forum, as well as the sub-forums of Energy Efficiency Improvement and Greening Buildings, and conducted on-site surveys at the relevant enterprises in the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Yokohama. In the Energy Efficiency Improvement Sub-forum, Mr. Zhu Liyang, spoke on the topic of “China's PracticesChina's Practice of Developing Circular Economy to Promote Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction”. In the sub-forum on greening building, Mr. Guo Zhanqiang, Secretary General of CACE, spoke on the topic of “Practice on Building Materials Recycling in China”.
