Classification and Recycling, Building an Ecological Civilization --Joint Initiative on Classification, Recycling and Disposal of Plastic Waste

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and other nine departments jointly issued the Notice on Solid Promotion of Plastic Pollution Control, redeploying and remobilizing the plastic pollution control work. Effective treatment of plastic pollution requires the joint participation of upstream and downstream enterprises and the whole society. China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, China Association of Circulation Economy, China National Resources Recycling Association, Chinese Resources Recycling Association, China Association of Urban Environmental Sanitation issued a joint initiative. It is suggested that the enterprises in the field of recycling and disposal should take joint actions to standardize the classification of plastic waste recycling and disposal and improve the level of resource and energy utilization.
