The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance recently issued the Notice on Enhanced and Expanded Implementation of Large-scale Equipment Renewal and Trade-ins of Consumer Goods Policy in 2025. The "Notice" makes it clear that the expansion supports the trade-ins of consumer goods, and the four categories of household appliances such as microwave ovens, water purifiers, dishwashers and rice cookers are included in the scope of subsidies; China will introduce new subsidies for the purchase of mobile phones and other digital products.
