2023 China Circular Economy Development Forum was successfully held in Beijing

On November 21, the 2023 China Circular Economy Development Forum (hereinafter referred to as "Forum") hosted by China Association of Circular Economy(hereinafter referred to as "CACE") was held in the form of a combination of online and offline events in Beijing. The theme of the Forum was organized around the theme that circular economy is the path that must be taken.At the critical moment of the 14th Five-Year Plan, in the key strategic opportunity period of actively and steadily promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality and accelerating the green transformation of the development mode, CACE invited the leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the leaders of the relevant departments, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, renowned experts of the authoritative research institutes, and entrepreneurs to gather together to deeply discuss the new trend of the development of the circular economy, analyze the issues, and put forward the new initiatives.

The Forum was hosted by Zhu Liyang, the president of CACE, and more than 500 representatives from relevant departments and bureaus of the State Council, authorities in charge of development and reform, industry and information technology, ecological environment , relevant industry associations, universities, and research institutes, international NGOs, as well as the news media attended the conference. According to the data provided by the live broadcast platform Guangming, a total of about 350,000 people watched the Forum online.
