President Zhu Liyang received a high-level EU delegation led by EU Environment, Oceans and Fisheries Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevicius


On September 24, Zhu Liyang, President of CACE, received in Beijing a high-level EU delegation led by Virginijus Sinkevicius, Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries of the European Commission, and accompanied them to visit the China's Palace Museum "Zero Waste” program. The program, jointly launched by the Palace Museum and Vanke Foundation in January 2020, aims to use raw kitchen waste and garden waste as local resources and recycle recyclables in the Palace Museum as environmental protection and innovation through scientific and precise waste management, making it a model for the green, low-carbon and circular development of the cultural tourism industry. Other senior officials of the EU delegation include Ms. Charlina Vitcheva, Director-General of DG MARE of the European Commission, and Mr. Laurent Bardon, First Counsellor for Environment and Climate of the EU Delegation to China etc.
