President Zhu Liyang attended the first National Ecology Day main event and made experience exchange


On August 15, the first National Ecology Day was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. Chinese President Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, made important instructions, and Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice-Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony of the event, conveyed the important instructions of Xi Jinping, and made remarks. With the theme of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", the event included a opening ceremony, a conference on important achievements of ecological civilization, an exchange of experience in ecological civilization construction, and a conference on green and low-carbon innovation. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) and other departments released the results of the third anniversary of the major declaration of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, the green and low-carbon development of industry, and the results and effectiveness of the Blue Book of China's Ecological Conservation Red Lines in various fields.
